What a great time we had yesterday at the “Evening of the Arts” event at Southmoreland Elementary in Scottdale PA. For this performance we prepared something new and risky: a repertoire-based concert for CEEMI ensemble and solo acoustic instruments. People loved it!… even the aliens that took over the ensemble at some point. When we started hearing solid Flamenco chords and the iconic Pachelbel’s Canon coming out of those tablets, we realized that maybe we should start a CEEMI Wedding Band. How fun would that be?
